How We Pick Restaurants

Every restaurant in our guides has at least a 4.5-star rating on Google with hundreds of verified reviews. We pull data from the Google Places API, then filter by cuisine category so you can find exactly what you are looking for — whether that is a traditional bandeja paisa or the best tacos in Pereira.

Some picks are marked as sponsored. These are restaurants we personally know and recommend because we eat there regularly. Tacos Jerry in Pereira, for example, is a longtime expat hangout in the Coffee Region; the LET'S TALK Pereira language exchange meets every Wednesday evening at El Barista café nearby (check the meetup page for the current week's start time).
