Colombia’s weather agency IDEAM is forecasting an extended period of intense rain, with Bogota expected to see elevated rainfall for roughly three months. Heavy rain raises the risk of flash floods, landslides, and river overflows, concentrated in Andean and Caribbean areas and rural zones.
