Where to Watch the World Cup 2026 in Colombia: Channels, Streaming, and From Abroad
The tournament runs June 11 to July 19, 2026, across the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The simplest answer for most fans in Colombia: tune to Caracol Televisión or RCN Televisión. Both free-to-air networks carry every Colombia group-stage match, plus dozens of other games. If you only care about following the Selección through the group stage, you are done. Read on for full tournament coverage, streaming apps, kickoff conversions, and how to watch from abroad.
Free-to-Air: Caracol and RCN
Caracol Televisión and RCN Televisión are the historical free rights holders for Colombia’s national team, and both are listed among Colombia’s 2026 broadcasters (broadcasting rights). They carry Colombia’s group-stage matches free over the air, alongside a broad selection of other fixtures. You do not need cable, satellite, or a subscription to watch Colombia.
Caracol also airs on Caracol HD2 and Caracol Play. For phones and tablets, Caracol offers Ditu, its own app. RCN streams through RCN Total and RCN’s streaming platforms. These apps work on WiFi or mobile data, so they are useful if you are traveling inside Colombia during the tournament. Download them and test login before June 11 so you are not scrambling at kickoff.
Paid and Full Coverage: DSports, DGO, Win Sports
If you want every minute of the tournament, you need a pay package.
DSports carries the tournament on pay TV, with streaming through the DGO platform. A pay package is how you guarantee the matches that fall outside Colombia’s free-to-air games.
Win Sports also holds Colombian rights for 2026 and carries marquee fixtures. It does not cover every match, so check its schedule for the games you want.
You can add these channels through Claro TV, Movistar TV, DIRECTV, Tigo, or ETB. Pick the carrier you already use for internet or mobile service to keep billing simple. Ask for the sports package that includes DSports and Win Sports.
Streaming on Your Phone or Laptop
| Service | What it covers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Ditu | Caracol’s coverage, including Colombia | Free, Caracol’s streaming app |
| Caracol Play | Caracol’s coverage | Free streaming option |
| RCN Total | RCN’s coverage | Free with RCN |
| DGO | Full tournament coverage | Paid, DSports streaming |
| Win Play | Win Sports coverage | Paid |
| Disney+ Premium | Colombia national-team matches | Premium tier required |
Most fans will get everything they need from the free apps for Colombia games. Upgrade to DGO or Win Play only if you plan to follow matches beyond Colombia’s free-to-air fixtures. Disney+ Premium is another option if you already subscribe and only want Colombia matches.
Kickoff Times in Colombian Time
Colombia stays on UTC-5 year-round and does not observe daylight saving time. That makes the math simple for some venues and tricky for others.
- Mexico City and Guadalajara kickoffs align directly with Colombian time.
- US Eastern host cities are one hour ahead of Colombia during the US summer.
- US Central host cities match Colombia’s clock.
- US Pacific host cities are two hours behind Colombia.
Plan your viewing accordingly. A 7:00 PM kickoff in Los Angeles starts at 9:00 PM in Bogotá. A 9:00 PM kickoff in New York starts at 8:00 PM in Medellín. If you are recording a match, set the timer in Colombian time and double check the host city zone.
Colombia’s remaining group fixtures in Colombian time are:
| Date | Opponent | COT Kickoff | Venue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tue June 23 | DR Congo | 9:00 PM | Guadalajara |
| Sat June 27 | Portugal | 6:30 PM | Miami |
Colombia opened the group against Uzbekistan on June 17.
Watching From Outside Colombia
Caracol and RCN streams do not work outside Colombia. If you are traveling or living abroad, the common workaround is a reputable VPN routed back to a Colombian IP address. That lets the apps treat your connection as local. Respect each service’s terms of use, and test the setup before kickoff so you are not troubleshooting during the national anthem (watching Caracol and RCN from abroad).
